Jesus said ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full’. It’s not just about where you go when you die, but about a fuller life now, knowing Jesus. We believe that life is better with Jesus and at St David’s we’re a people who have found that to be true. One of our purposes is to help people come to know Jesus for themselves, to discover new life in his name, and then to help them follow him day by day.
Perhaps you were raised in a Christian family and for whatever reason stopped believing, stopped being part of a church family. Perhaps you’ve never really thought about faith or Jesus or anything like that before. Whatever your background, whoever you are, whatever your understanding of faith, if you’re interested in exploring faith, or thinking about life according to Jesus, we’d love to accompany you along the way.
Our friends at Speak Life have launched an online platform called 321 which helps people explore Christian faith and life for yourself at your own pace. It’s made up of 8 short videos which think about Jesus, God, the state of our world, and about life with questions to think about after each one. No video is longer than 15 mins including time to think about the questions. You can check it out by clicking the image on the right/below. It will ask for an email and to set up a password, that’s just to keep track of your progress and to enable you to ask questions of the team behind the videos directly. You can also get 321 as an app on your phone, simply search ‘321’ on your app store.
We run 321 as an in person course too every so often, running over 4 sessions. If you’d be interested in joining us for one get in touch with the Vicar and he’ll let you know when one is coming up. If you have questions off the back of the videos or are interested in thinking about life, exploring faith or have questions about Christianity or Jesus we’d love to chat with you. Anyone is welcome to come along to worship on a Sunday, you don’t need to believe to be there and someone would be happy to chat with you afterwards. Alternatively you can get in touch with the Vicar who would love to hear from you and arrange a time to chat.
Wherever you’re at, whatever you believe, whatever your background, we’d love to hear from you.
